I am passionate about healing! We adopted our children out of a place of deep hurt in the heart of Africa, and almost immediately started looking for resources with specialized expertise to help our precious children, and our family unit.
Living in northern BC, we found it quite challenging to find, let alone to access resources. We travelled throughout the west to find help that would come alongside our family. Out of this experience was born the desire of my heart to help others in need for whom there is so little help to be found. It was this journey to find resources that spurred me on to continue my education and become a counsellor. Nobody needs to live in crisis mode.
I have walked with individuals as they step toward and into freedom from fear, anxiety, guilt; as they learn who they are and to be content and comfortable in their own skin, and I am always excited to see every single step toward freedom and renewed hope! As a woman of faith, I am happy to walk the spiritual journey with those who are looking for a Christian perspective, and will take the cue from you on this.
I am a relational person who is always warm and friendly, and who genuinely cares about those around me. When you experience the encouragement and empathy you’ll find in session with me, your journey toward healing and wholeness will find greater success, and at your own healthy pace. Don’t wait.
